Tokai Quartet in Picton II

This is our second concert in Picton where we are on the faculty of the Music at Port Milford Festival. We will perform a ‘Spanish’ Program which includes the Bullfighter’s Prayer by Turina, Four for Tango by Piazzolla and the mesmerizing and beautiful Tenebrae by Goliov. Also on the program Ginastera’s fiery second Quartet.

The concert is part of a series that runs from July 23 to Aug. 13. All concerts are at 8 pm, at the Church of St. Mary Magdalene in Picton. Tickets: Books & Company, Picton; Quinte Arts Council, Belleville and The Novel Idea, Kingston. Single concert: adults $20, students $10. Series: adults $70, students $30.
