Tokai Quartet in Picton

Come and hear us play in the lovely town of Picton where we are on the faculty of the Music at Port Milford Festival. The program includes Shumann’s first String Quartet and Barbers String Quartet which includes the famous second movement that is also known as Adagio for Strings. We will also perform a few song arrangements with mezzo-soprano Rebecca Kenneally from Boston.

The concert is part of a series that runs from July 23 to Aug. 13. All concerts are at 8 pm, at the Church of St. Mary Magdalene in Picton. Tickets: Books & Company, Picton; Quinte Arts Council, Belleville and The Novel Idea, Kingston. Single concert: adults $20, students $10. Series: adults $70, students $30.
